Bulgarian heavyweight Kubrat Pulev (25-1, 13 KOs) has injured his chest on October 6 and tried not to pay much attention to it during the training process, but the problem was aggravated. This happened in Bulgaria, where the challenger prepared for a fight with IBF, WBA, IBO world champion Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs).
According to sources in Bulgaria, Pulev suffered a rupture of the thoracic muscle after undergoing an ultrasound in Berlin. Because of the inability to continue training adequately, Kubrat will announce soon that he refuses to fight Joshua.
