Former defender of "Manchester United" and the England national soccer team Rio Ferdinand intends to become a professional boxer. Ferdinand announced the end of his professional career in May 2015, after his wife Rebecca Ellison died from cancer.
Recently, the ex-defender worked as a football expert on one of the British TV channels and meanwhile conducted boxing trainings, videos of which were published in his account in Instagram.
To obtain the status of professional boxer in his country, 38-year-old Ferdinand will need a license, which at the moment he does not have. Ferdinand's nearest rivals in the ring do not report the publication.
