The Puerto Rican fans were in full force and outnumbered the Mexican fans by at least a 3 to 1 ratio. Marquez (39-5, 35KOs) was the first boxer to step on the scale. He came in at a ripped and ready 125.5-pounds. WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez (29-0, 26KOs) was also in great shape, and also weighed in at 125.5-pounds.
The super middleweights were up next, fighting in the Showtime-televised co-feature. The first fighter up was Glen Johnson, who returns to 168-pounds for the first time in ten years. Johnson was very, very thin and weighed in at 167-pounds. Allan Green was next to the scale, and came in at 168.5-pounds. Green stripped down to nothing and then made weight at 168 even. Johnson-Green is a third stage bout in the Super Six Boxing Classic.
