The national team of Ukraine arrived in Hamburg, Germany, where from August 25 will participate in the World championship 2017. At the world championship the national team will perform the following squad, which was determined by the results of the European champion in Kharkov two months earlier:

49 kg - Nazar Kurotchyn

52 kg - Dmitry Zamotaev

56 kg - Nikolay Butsenko

60 kg - Yuri Shestak

69 kg - Evgeny Barabanov

75 kg - Olexander Khizhnyak

91 kg - Ramadan Muslimov

+91 kg - Victor Vykhryst

"Now we are in Hamburg, where we managed to pass the accreditation procedure and together with other teams are expecting an official draw ceremony, and the very next day we will start performing at the World Championships. In general, the organizers of the competitions created good conditions for living and training. The food is also at the proper level, - said the head coach of the team Dmitry Sosnovsky. - It's hard for me to say what kind of results to expect at the World Cup, because our team is young, it is the first time we will compete at such a level. However, I want to note that I am completely confident in our guys and I am convinced that they will do everything to win. If we show at least the level of boxing that was in Kharkiv, then everything will be fine. Before the European Championships, I said that we have 6-7 combat units capable of showing the result and we took 6 medals. Now I see that we have 3-5 boxers who can compete at the world level."

According to the regulations of the current World Cup, the official ceremony of drawing will be held on August 24 at 16:30 (Kyiv time).
