Alvarez could face Kanat Islam

WBO jr middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (48-1-1, 34 KOs) could make an optional defense on May 6 against Kanat Islam (22-0, 18 KOs) from Kazakhstan, possibly at the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium. Islam is currently the #5 challenger in the WBO rankings.
