UFC Armenian lightweight Arman Tsarukian explained why former interim division champion Justin Gaethje agreed to fight Max Holloway despite being considered a top contender for the title.
"I was surprised by Gatji's decision. Maybe Islam Makhachev couldn't fight in April, that's why Justin chose Holloway. But in general the fight against Max will be an easy one for Gaethje. He will win, make money and fight for the title after me," Tsarukyan said on the air of The MMA Hour show.
Recall, the fight Gatji - Holloway will take place on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, USA. Tsarukyan will fight Charles Oliveira as part of the same event.
