Jason Moloney, WBO lightweight champion of the world, reacted to the outcome of the Tszyu vs. Fundora fight.
"I have a lot of respect for Tim. He proved that he is something more than Bones' son. Against Fundora, Tim looked great as well. He adapted well to his opponent's unusual style. It was just bad luck with that elbow strike. Tim is a warrior, he would have kept coming forward anyway. But his team let him down. Should have made a wise decision in that situation. It was obvious that because of the blood, he couldn't see well. He was constantly wiping the blood away. If his team had done the right thing, Tim would have retained the belt. Everyone would have been disappointed with the stoppage of the fight, but he would have gotten a chance for a rematch. It was frustrating to watch the Australian lose. If not for the dissection, Tim would have gotten the win," - quotes Moloney Boxing Scene.
