Oliveira's coach: 'No one remembers Chandler anymore now'

The coach of former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira Diego Lima spoke out about the current situation of Michael Chandler.

As a reminder, the American has been idle since November 2022, waiting for a box office bout with Conor McGregor.

"It sucks, doesn't it? I respect Chandler, but what has he accomplished in the UFC? How many fights has he had? He sells fights pretty well, his name means something. But Gaethje, Porier, Charles and Makhachev have done more for the UFC. A lot more. So I don't know if anyone is interested in a Chandler fight right now.

Chandler was waiting for Conor, so people forgot about Michael. Now no one remembers he exists anymore. Tsarukian is on the rise, and so is Gaethje. Porier had a great last fight in general. And Chandler, poor guy, he's just sitting around waiting. Even though he hasn't even won at least three in a row in the UFC. He fought for the belt, but did not win it," - quotes the specialist MMA Junkie.
