Garcia made a prediction for a potential fight with Cruz

Former interim WBC lightweight champion Ryan Garcia has spoken out about a possible fight with newly crowned WBA super lightweight belt holder Isaac Cruz.

"He has my favorite style. I can't count how many times I've sparred or fought someone like that. He's even smaller than Oscar Duarte. Duarte fought the same way he did. Oscar was bigger, slower and not as aggressive. Still, it's a very similar style. You can deny it all you want, but Duarte and Cruz have very similar styles.

I'd have to fight a smaller version of Duarte, which is a little bit better, but I'd get the job done because I knocked out Oscar. I feel like I would knock Isaac out before the fifth round," Boxing News quoted Garcia as saying.
