Former UFC lightweight champion Peter Yan believes that Arman Tsarukyan is capable of becoming the promotion's lightweight champion.
The Armenian will face Brazilian Charles Oliveira on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.
"I think Arman can become a UFC champion. He has everything - skills, ambition, and his age allows. The question is when it will happen. People also become champions at 35 when no one believed it could happen. If Arman stays in the same focus, with the same attitude, will believe in his dream, his goal, visualize it and bring it closer, then everything is real," said Yan in an interview with MMA Fighting YouTube channel.
