Former UFC lightweight champion Aljamain Sterling has spoken out about his upcoming debut in the welterweight division.
The American will share the octagon with compatriot Kelvin Kattar on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas, USA.
"When I fight Kelvin, my performance will surprise you. A lot of fans say, "If O'Malley was able to knock you out, what will a bigger opponent who hits harder do to you?" And I always answer that you can't do damage to someone you can't touch.
I think that's going to be a key point. I'm going to try to make our fight as similar as possible to his fight with Max Holloway," Sportskeeda quoted Sterling as saying.
