Sebastian Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs), the newly crowned WBO and WBC light middleweight champion of the world, said after his fight with Australia's Tim Tszyu (24-1-1, 17 KOs) that he has long been accustomed to bloody fights.
Fundora unexpectedly defeated Tszyu by split decision (112-116, 116-112 and 115-113) on March 30 at Boxing Night in Las Vegas, USA.
"Since I was eight years old, my nose has been bleeding all the time. Blood is not something wild for me. We fight in the arena. We are gladiators. Have you seen my fights before? My fights are always bloody. I think this fight could be a contender for Fight of the Year. It was a tough fight, a tough opponent," Boxing Scene quoted Fundora as saying.
