Holloway explained why weight class doesn't matter to him

Former UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has spoken out about his decision to make a second foray into the lightweight division.

The American will fight compatriot Justin Gaethje, who holds the symbolic BMF ("Most Dangerous Bastard") title, at UFC 300 on April 13.

"I see a lot of fans get perplexed, they say, 'Wait, try to face Francis Ngannou.' Let's go, bro. You think I care about that? That's why me and my team are different. Even some fighters are worried about bouts in their weight classes.

My position is that if you're ranked as a top fighter regardless of category, you should be ready to fight anybody. That's what this ranking is all about," Holloway said in a fresh edition of the author's YouTube channel.
