Former UFC women's bantamweight champion Rose Namayunas commented on her victory over Amanda Ribas in the main event of UFC on ESPN 53. For the 31-year-old American, this fight was the second framework of the lightest category.
"It's always nice to have your hand raised after a fight. I thank God for this win because he gave me strength every day. I expected to be a little faster in the stand-up, but we'll do some work on that.
What's next? I will be watching the Erin Blanchfield and Manon Fioro fight closely, and if Manon wins, maybe I will rematch her. I also know that Macey Barber looked incredible in her last fight, so she could potentially be my opponent as well," Namayunas said after the fight.
Namayunas defeated Ribas by unanimous decision and broke her two-fight losing streak.
