Johnson: "Going to ONE was my best decision."

Former dominant UFC lightweight champion Demetrious Johnson has accused promotion head Dana White of lying.

Earlier, the functionary stated that "Mighty Mouse" never asked for a share of the revenue from the sale of pay-per-view broadcasts of tournaments.

"I was clearly told that the flyweight fighters are not given bonuses from PPV sales. If you're a lightweight, middleweight or heavyweight, you're welcome. Plus, the champions of those categories automatically received royalties of $500,000 or more, not including additional bonuses.

I never made it to those numbers. That would be cool, since I've made 11 title defenses. White, on the other hand, says I didn't even ask for my share of the sales. That's not true. So going to ONE was my best decision. Take C.M. Punk for example. He came to the UFC and immediately got a base fee of 500k. I've defended the belt 11 times, but I've never achieved anything like that," Sportskeeda quoted Johnson as saying.
