Former UFC lightweight interim belt holder Dustin Porier is confident that he has more significant achievements in mixed martial arts than the division's champion Islam Makhachev.
Earlier, the Dagestani said that he is ready to give the American a title shot, even though the latter is not and deserves such an opportunity.
"This is only his opinion. I've been doing this for a very long time and I've done more in mixed martial arts than him. I was doing it before it was mainstream and I'm still here. I'm still performing at the highest level and I can beat anyone in the world. And I hope Islam is next," USA TODAY Sports quoted Puryear as saying.
Recall that the account of 35-year-old Puryear has 30 wins and eight losses in mixed martial arts.
