Kazakhstan's UFC fighter Maria Agapova has apologized for a recent emotional social media post.
The 26-year-old previously accused UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard of not scheduling her fights since September 2022.
"I would like to address my fans and the entire MMA community. Yesterday I wrote a post about not having fights for a long time. Unfortunately, it came out very emotional - I was writing in a moment of desperation.
The truth is that I haven't fought because I underwent complicated knee surgery and then didn't get fights because of green card issues. I would like to apologize for this publication to the fans and personally to Mick Maynard," Agapova wrote on Instagram.
