Whittaker plans to return in August

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker of Australia has revealed that he would like to fight in August in his home country.

"Right now there are rumors that the UFC will return to Australia in August. I would love to do a show on home soil in August. A fight with Strickland? I like that idea. I haven't fought Sean yet and I know a win over him would put me in the title picture, so I'm all for it. It would be perfect," - quotes Whittaker Middle Easy.

Recall that in his last appearance in the octagon Whittaker won a unanimous decision over Paulo Costa. The fight took place on February 17 at UFC 298 in Anaheim, USA.
