Ali commented on the defeat of Joyce

British super featherweight boxer Kash Ali (21-3, 12 KOs) summarized his fight with former interim WBO champion compatriot Joe Joyce (16-2, 15 KOs).

Joyce stopped Ali in the tenth round on March 16 at Queensberry Promotions Boxing Night in Birmingham.

"The fight against Joyce lasted ten rounds. It went just like I thought it would. I underestimated him. It wasn't the result I wanted but I can take positives from it, we move on.

Even though I was knocked down, I got back up on my feet immediately. I don't think the fight should have been stopped, but it is what it is. The referee stopped the fight," Boxing King Media quoted Ali as saying.
