Mauricio Sulaiman has confirmed that he will make every effort to have the fight between Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), scheduled for May 18, judged by six judges. The fight will be the main event of the boxing evening organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

As envisioned by the WBC president, two referees will sit on three sides of the ring. The fourth side will be designed for journalists and commentators working at the tournament.

At stake in the fight between the Ukrainian and the British will be not only the WBC championship belt, but also the IBF, WBO and WBA titles. Suleiman emphasized that other federations must agree to increase the number of judges.

Boxing teams have not yet reacted in any way to the Mexican's idea. The May event will be shown by streaming service DAZN in a paid broadcast.
