Two-time Olympic judo champion and current UFC fighter Kayla Harrison commented on the scandalous situation that occurred at a fan meeting prior to UFC 299.
Recall, one of the fans asked Arman Tsarukyan a question: "Arman, how many sticks would you throw to the girl sitting next to you (Harrison - ed.)?". To which the Russian replied, "A couple."
"That's terrible. It's disrespectful. I'm a two-time Olympic champion, world champion, I'm a mother! Of course it's horrible that the question was asked at all. I'm more than sure a girl would never be asked the question, "How many times would you like to have sex with Alex Pereira?" We don't sexualize men that much!
I was very embarrassed, shocked even. But I'm going to be myself and speak out on this situation when the time comes. Because I think this situation is wrong. I want to clean up the sport, not only for me, but for other girl fighters," Harrison said on Tha MMA Hour show.
