WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has explained why a fight with former holder of the remaining belts in the division Anthony Joshua is not in his plans for now.
"For whatever reason, over the last five years, there has always been something that has prevented us from fighting Joshua. And this time we have the absolute world heavyweight title between us. So this fight is on the back burner for now.
Unfortunately, I have more important things with Usik right now, and we have a rematch in October. So, after that, if he's still available, we can meet," said "Gypsy King" in an interview with ESPN.
