O'Malley - Vera: Sterling's prediction

Former UFC flyweight champion Aljamain Sterling analyzed the bout between current titleholder Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera in the main event of UFC 299 on March 9.

"O'Malley is the more skillful fighter, unequivocally. However, there are some things like toughness, grit, endurance that people overlook, and Vera has all of that. My only concern is the rumors that Marlon didn't have a good training camp and enough sparring partners. I don't know how true that is.

I'm leaning towards O'Malley getting the win, but I don't think an early win. Maybe by split decision," Sterling said on his YouTube channel.
