Former UFC flyweight title challenger Brandon Royval has spoken out about the division's undefeated prospect Muhammad Mokaev.
Last weekend at UFC Fight Night 238 in Las Vegas, USA, Mokaev won a unanimous judges' decision over Alex Perez in a less than spectacular fight.
"Yes, Mokaev is going undefeated. But I don't think the win over Perez will put him closer to a title fight. I didn't see anything impressive there. Mokaev was done after the first round!
Every time I watch his fights I think, "This sucks." It's boring. He was stronger than Perez in the first round. That's it. In between Mokaev fights, I forget what he is. And then he gets back in the octagon and I remember he's incredibly boring," Royval said on The MMA Hour show.
