UFC flyweight champion Sean O'Malley said he would like to fight higher division belt holder Elijah Topuria at UFC 306, which is scheduled for Sept. 14 in Las Vegas.
"I'm up against Topuria in September, in Las Vegas, on Mexican Independence Day. Let's make it happen. If everything goes according to plan, that's my next fight.
At the end of the day, it's the biggest fight possible. I like to make money. Why would I fight the same killer in my category but make less money? I'm here for the money. I really don't have anything against the guys in my division, but I'm not going to pass up a chance. I believe our fight with Elijah will be a massive event," Sherdog quoted O'Malley as saying.
