Haney told how he converted to Islam

Undefeated American boxer, WBC title holder in the first welterweight division Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) spoke about how he became a Muslim.

“Three or four years ago I converted to Islam. I studied religion for a long time. My father was a Muslim and we went to the mosque all the time, but I was not a Muslim. And one day I realized that the time had come. This is a religion that I understand. “I wasn’t religious before,” the boxer said on The MMA Hour show.

Let us remind you that Haney will hold his next fight on April 20 with his compatriot Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs). According to the latest information, the fight will take place at the Barclays Center arena in New York.
