Undefeated Kazakh welterweight Shavkat Rakhmonov does not rule out that in his next fight he will fight with the division champion British Leon Edwards.
“Now I have a little rest, I’m finishing my business for now. When is the next match? Not yet known. The media writes all sorts of things. Kamaru Usman? If it works out, then perhaps we will have a fight with him. I can go to a title fight, there is such a possibility. Nobody knows in advance what will happen. Now I’m one of the contenders for the UFC belt in my weight,” Shavkat said in the “Friend of Shaekin” podcast.
Let us remember that in his last appearance in the Octagon, Rakhmonov forced the American veteran Stephen Thompson to capitulate in the second round.
