Whittaker: "The goal is to destroy Costa"

Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker spoke about his mood for the upcoming fight with the ex-challenger for the belt Paulo Costoi.

The Australian and the Brazilian will cross gloves in the co-main event of UFC 298, which will take place on the night of February 18 in Anaheim, USA.

“I really want to hurt Kostya. To be honest, I don’t even know this person. I don't know him as a person. I don't go on social media and I don't follow this guy. Still, I really want to hurt him.

He's already in my sights. I like it. I think that the lack of such an attitude was my weak point in the last fight. So I just brought back that hostility, that aggression. My goal is not to win the upcoming battle. My goal is to destroy Costa,” MMA Mania quotes Whittaker.
