Arum outlined the timing of Stevenson's return to the ring

The head of the promotion company Top Rank Bob Arum told when the WBC world champion in the lightweight category Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) will make his next appearance.

“I spoke to his managers on Thursday. Shakur will fight in June, and we need to find him an opponent.

In his last fight, Shakur performed so poorly because he had injuries. We made him see the doctors a few weeks before the fight. I think that’s why he fought very carefully. Although it looked lousy,” Boxing Scene quotes Arum as saying.

Let us remember that in November last year, 26-year-old Stevenson defeated Edwin De Los Santos by unanimous decision.
