Wilder: “Ready to fight Usyk”

Former WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder declared his readiness to share the ring with the holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF belts Alexander Usik, if the unification fight of the Ukrainian with Tyson Fury will fail again.

“I’m ready to fight Usyk. I am always ready no matter what happens. It doesn’t matter how much I train and whether I get a three-week notice or an eight-week notice. It doesn’t matter. I’m a fighter, so I’m ready to fight anyone,” Wilder said in an interview with the ES NEWS YouTube channel.

Let us remind you that Usik and Fury were supposed to fight on February 17, but the fight had to be postponed due to a cut the Briton received during sparring. The fight is now scheduled for May 18th.
