Benavidez Sr. named the favorite for the Usyk-Fury fight

Jose Benavidez Sr., father and coach of the interim WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez, stated that in the upcoming fight between the holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF titles Alexander Usik and WBC champion Tyson Fury he sees the Ukrainian as the favorite.

“I'll pick Usyk with a slight advantage, maybe 60 to 40. It's because of the way he moves, uses angles, and he looked very impressive. That’s why I choose Usyk with a slight advantage, but anything can happen,” Benavidez said in an interview with Fight Hub TV.

Let us remind you that the fight between Usik and Fury was supposed to take place on February 17, but the Briton withdrew due to a cut he received during sparring. The boxers are now scheduled to meet on May 18th.
