Wardley commented on the postponement of the Usyk-Fury fight

British heavyweight prospect Fabio Wardley commented on the disruption of the fight for the title of absolute world champion in his division between Alexander Usik And Tyson Fury.

"This is madness. It’s sad because literally a few centimeters separated us from this battle. They signed the contact and sealed it, everyone trained, everyone was ready. And then the dissection... Great. This is the law of meanness: something happened that could not have happened.

It's a shame, but I hope they put up a fight. They chose a date, but I don’t know how realistic it is in terms of healing of the cut. I hope that everything will come together, everything will work as it should, and ultimately we will get the fight we want to see,” Wardley said in an interview with the iFL TV YouTube channel.

Let us remember that the fight between Usik and Fury was postponed due to the cut that Tyson received in a sparring with Agron Smakichi. Their fight is expected to take place on May 18 in Saudi Arabia.
