Gvozdyk: “I’ll take revenge from Beterbiev and become the absolute champion”

Former WBC world light heavyweight champion Alexander Gvozdyk stated that he still plans to unify all the titles in the division.

“It’s not that I believe, I know that it will happen. I will take revenge from Beterbiev and become the absolute champion. For me, the fight with Beterbiev is more priority than with Bivol, because he has three belts. But I won’t refuse a fight with Bivol either. What lessons did I learn after losing to Beterbiev? That you need to focus on other things in preparation, not relax and work 200%. You need to be very well prepared functionally, practice defense and act on counterattacks. Fighting Beterbiev at mid-range is suicide,” the Ukrainian said.
