Unified World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Usik stated that he does not regret the fact that he had to endure separation from his family during the training camp for the fight with the WBC belt holder Tyson Fury.
The fight between the Ukrainian and the Briton was supposed to take place on February 17 in Riyadh, but was canceled due to a cut the Briton received during training.
"I do not regret anything. I had a lot on the line. I wasn’t with my family when my fourth child was born, I missed my kids’ birthdays. I wasn’t with my family on New Year’s Day, on St. Nicholas Day... But I’ll repeat once again: this means this is my path, which I will follow with a big smile,” Usik said live on Instagram.
Let us remind you that today it became known that the fight between Usik and Fury has been postponed to May 18.
