WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Alexander Usik spoke about his main motivation before the fight with Tyson Fury.

“Every morning when I get up at five to go for a run, the first thing I think about is my country and my people. I think about our people who fight on the front lines and the sacrifices they make for me and my family.

After the fight, I will immediately return to Ukraine. I love my people. I want to give them the joy of victory. I’m fighting for the whole nation, Tyson Fury is fighting for himself,” Usyk said in an interview with The Ring.

Let us remind you that the fight between Usik and Fury will take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The winner will become the first undisputed champion in the heavyweight division since 1999.
