Eddie Hearn's promotional organization Matchroom Boxing announced that it will hold a middleweight tournament with a prize fund of $1 million. One of the participants in these competitions will be Anauel Ngamissenghe (13-0, 8 KOs).

The undefeated 27-year-old athlete beat the Ukrainian in his last professional performance last August Fedora Cherkashina, living and training in Poland. The tournament will also feature Aaron McKenna (18-0, 9 KOs) and Kieron Conway (20-3-1, 5 KOs), among others.

The tournament will begin on March 31 at the first boxing evening organized by Eddie Hearn's group in Japan.

“This is a significant moment as Matchroom brings top-level boxing to Japan for the first time,” said Joel Borras, President and Founder of Never Say Never (NSN), which will co-host the evening. “This one-of-a-kind event with a $1 million prize fund will showcase the best in the middleweight division and captivate fans around the world.”
