Holloway: I really wanted to fight at UFC 300

Former UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway explained why performing at the promotion’s 300th anniversary tournament is important to him.

“I understood that UFC 200 was a big event. It seemed that I would have a chance to fight Aldo or Edgar there, but it didn’t work out. So the 300th tournament is already close, and I’m unlikely to make it to the 400th. So UFC 300 is the event I would like to compete at.

You understand that everyone will gather in Las Vegas. The UFC will bring all the glamor and glitter there,” Holloway said in an interview with Kevin Iola’s YouTube channel.

Let us remind you that UFC 300 will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas. It was previously announced that Holloway would fight Justin Gaethje in the lightweight division on this show.
