One of the trainers of the former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya Mike Angove reported that his protégé returned to training after a short break in his career, and also named the names of his preferred opponents for the next fight.

“Israel is back in the gym – who he will fight depends on the UFC. Obviously, the Adesanya-Du Plessis fight is one of the options. We must be ready for it. But we are also prepared for potential fights with Sean Strickland and Khamzat Chimaev. These are the most obvious options that are on the table, but the decision is not for us to make,” the specialist said in an interview with Sky Sports.

Let us remember that Adesanya has not appeared in the Octagon since September last year, when he lost to Sean Strickland on points and lost his belt.
