A new date for the UFC's debut tournament in Saudi Arabia has been announced

UFC and Riyadh Season officials announced that the Fight Night series will take place on June 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Well-known insider Ariel Helwani recently reported that the event previously scheduled for March 2 in Riyadh is being postponed to June because the promotion does not have time to create a strong enough fight card for the beginning of spring.

The head of Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Entertainment, Turki Al Al-Sheikh, issued a press release on Wednesday confirming the show's postponement and the new date. The statement said: “The decision to reschedule was made to ensure the participation of the highest caliber of talent.”

It is worth adding that at the moment it is unknown which fighters will take part in the planned show.
