"Ten years ago I was a jerk." Jones addressed the youth

UFC heavyweight champion John Jones gave a parting speech to the younger generation.

“Ten years ago I was a jerk, young and immature. I was looking for more money. Fast forward to now and I am the current heavyweight champion. Probably the highest paid athlete in the promotion. I have a great relationship with the UFC. God is good. Don’t give up, youth,” Jones wrote in X.

Let us remember that Jones had his last fight in March last year, when he forced Cyril Gan to surrender in the first round. In November, the American was supposed to defend against Stipe Miocic, but he tore his pectoral muscle and was out for 6-8 months.
