Lerena received an offer to fight on the Joshua-Ngannou undercard

Kevin Lerena (30-2, 14 KOs) has received an offer to fight Justice Huni (8-0, 4 KOs), who will fight his next professional fight on March 8 at a boxing event in Riyadh. This was announced by the promoter of the boxer from South Africa, Rodney Berman.

Lerena is also the official challenger for the WBC world title in the bridge weight division. The World Boxing Council championship belt in this weight category belongs to Pole Lukasz Ruzanski.

The 31-year-old boxer last competed in November, defeating Senada Gashi. Huni, in his last professional appearance, beat Andrew Tabiti.

The main event of the March boxing evening will be the fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou. Fans will also see a fight for the interim WBO heavyweight belt between Zhang Zhilei and Joseph Parker.
