Beterbiev's coach appreciated Smith's level

Mark Ramsey, trainer of the unified world light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev, spoke about his ward’s closest rival Callum Smith.

“Callum is one of the best opponents we’ve had so far. This is an excellent boxer who has speed, a strong punch and stamina. He proved this in his fight with Saul Alvarez. He took a lot of hits in that fight.

But for the first time he will have to fight with an opponent of such a level as Artur Beterbiev. Now we are focusing only on what Arthur will enter the ring with, and not on what the other side will do,” the TVA Sports specialist quotes.

Let us remind you that Beterbiev and Smith will fight on the night of January 14 in Quebec, Canada.
