Ortiz: Lopez fight is the most important fight of my career

Contender for WBO junior welterweight title Jamayne Ortiz reacted to the announcement of a fight against the champion Teofimo Lopez.

“This is the most important fight in my career. This is my first fight for the world title. I believe that this confrontation will reveal my best qualities. I’m looking forward to returning home as a new champion,” The Ring quotes the American as saying.

The day before it became known that Lopez and Ortiz will fight on February 8 at the Top Rank evening in Las Vegas.
