Lopez Sr.: My son is the best in the 140-pound division

Teofimo Lopez Sr., father of the American WBO super welterweight title holder Teofimo Lopez, considers his son the strongest boxer in this category.

“We defeated the lineal champion and received the lineal belt. We defeated Josh Taylor. My son is number one in the 140-pound division,” BoxingScene quotes Lopez Sr.

Let us remember that Lopez defeated Taylor by unanimous decision in June last year. Since then, the 26-year-old American has not appeared in the ring.
