Vettori and Allen will headline UFC on April 6

The UFC press office today announced that the former middleweight title contender Marvin Vettori And Brendan Allen will headline the Fight Night series tournament scheduled for April 6 in Las Vegas.

Vettori (19-6-1) remains fifth in the official middleweight rankings despite three losses and just two wins in his last five. The Italian made his last appearance in June last year, losing by unanimous decision to Jared Cannonier.

Allen (23-5) is riding a six-fight winning streak following a loss to Chris Curtis in December 2021. In November, the American defeated Paul Craig ahead of schedule, thanks to which he was able to reach eighth place in the ranking of the best middleweights of the promotion.
