Whittaker – Costa, Neil – Harry fights will take place at UFC 298
A pair of high-profile bouts have officially been added to the UFC 298 card, which takes place on February 17 in Anaheim, California.
UFC CEO Dana White announced that the former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will fight with the ex-challenger for the belt Paulo Costoi. The Australian and Brazilian were originally scheduled to meet at UFC 284 in February this year, but Costa pulled out due to contractual disputes with the promotion.
In addition, as part of the planned event, a welterweight fight between Geoff Neal and Ian Harry will take place. The two were scheduled to fight at UFC 292 in August, but Neal pulled out due to health issues.
