Ring girl Britney Palmer retires after 12 years in the UFC

At the upcoming UFC 296 tournament, which will take place on the night of December 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Britney Palmer will make her last appearance in the Octagon as a ring girl. The 36-year-old American announced her retirement at the World MMA Awards ceremony, where she won the “Best Ring Girl 2023” category.

“Thank you everyone. I am truly honored to receive this award. Thanks to the UFC and everyone who voted for me. I have traveled the world, met incredible people and made lifelong friends.

I will always treasure the memories and look forward to the future. Thank you to the UFC, Dana White and all the fans for this incredible privilege. I am really happy to be a part of such a journey. Love you guys,” Palmer said.
