Sterling's coach: 'Holloway fight won't happen'

Ray Longo, mentor of the former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, spoke about the planned transition of his ward to the featherweight category.

“The fight with Holloway will not take place. As far as I understand, the promotion has other plans for him. And I don’t even know what the UFC plans to do with Sterling.

Aljamain wants to fight Kattar. “I’ve always been a big fan of Calvin, but Aljo says he needs fights like this to get closer to the title,” the MMA Mania specialist quotes.

Let's remember that Sterling last performed on August 19 at UFC 292, when he lost by knockout in the second round to Sean O'Malley.
