Billam-Smith – Riakpo in spring in England

In the spring in England, the WBO world heavyweight champion Chris Billam-Smith (19-1, 13 KO) will fight against Richard Riakpo (17-0, 13 KOs). A few weeks ago, Riakpo was recognized as the official challenger for the World Boxing Organization belt.

The WBO should soon compel the boxing teams to stage this fight, and since both boxers are under contract with the Boxxer promotional organization, an agreement will be reached quickly.

This could be a rematch of their 2019 fight, which ended with Riakpo winning. Thus, Billam-Smith will have a chance to take revenge for his only professional defeat.
