Interim WBC Middleweight Champion Carlos Adames (23-1, 18 KOs) stopped former unified champion Julian "J-Rock" Williams (28-4-1, 16 KOs) in the ninth round in the main event at the Armory Arena in Minneapolis. Adames actively led the fight and achieved a rather premature referee stoppage at 2:45 in the ninth round, much to the displeasure of the Williams team. At the time of the stoppage, Adames was leading on all three judges' cards: 80-72, 78-74 and 77-74. According to CompuBox statistics, the opponents landed roughly the same number of punches.
Daniel Jacobs (33-2, 29 KOs) won a unanimous decision over the previously undefeated Luis Arias (18-1, 9 KO) in the main event of the evening in Uniondale, New York. Scores were 118-109, 120-107, 119-108.

An official weighing procedure took place on the eve of the boxing event in the American Uniondale, New York, in the main event of which, Daniel Jacobs begins his new campaign to the world titles with a fight against the undefeated Luis Arias. Jacobs and Arias without problems with the first attempt made the limit of middleweight. Jacobs was 159.6 pounds, Arias - 160 pounds.
